We shine the spotlight on Michelle Moreno today. Little does she know, but im actually a big fan of hers! This girl does it all, She sings, she acts, she cosplays, what more could a guy want =p

My name is Michelle Moreno and since I was 6 years old I have loved Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I started to cosplay as her in 2003 when I saw the beautiful Jennifer Eatherly cosplay as Ariel and I thought “Wow! That looks like fun”. Since then I have gone through 3 incarnations of the blue dress, my current dress was commissioned from LimeBarb.com and my golden down was made for me by the amazing Lisa Fabio (www.pennylane.com).
I love to cosplay Belle because ever since I saw BATB I felt so connected to her. When I was littler (before the movie came out) I would watch the story of BATB on faerie tale theater, it’s always been a favorite story of mine.
Growing up I loved reading and my favorite color was blue . . .just like Belle. Plus she’s a brunette, I’m a brunette. I love her spirit, and how she’s not perfect, (she cries, she thinks about leaving the Beast in the woods) but at the end of the day she does her best. Who can’t relate to that.
When I cosplay I love when kids come up and talk to me as Belle they’ll say things like “do you remember when you met the Beast? He was scary” and I get to talk back to them, sometimes they try to stump me with trivia but I’ve got a few years on them 
Reading her bio.. made me love her even more!
